This is a very special year, The Trail Riders of The Canadian Rockies is Celebrating their 100 Year Anniversary!In celebration of this Special Milestone, The Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies have put together a Signature Backcountry Trip, Outfitted by Boundary Ranch. We will be riding and camping for 5 days inside the iconic Banff National Park, with rides starting at Boundary Ranch. Camp will be setup on Bryant Creek, surrounded by mountains, with day rides to Mount Assiniboine, Allenby Pass, Marvel Lake, and/or Owl Lake. This might be the last time this area is accessible by horseback.

Our pack trips are still run in the traditional manner that Alvin Guinn started in the 1930s (plus a few more modern comforts). Release of Responsibility
All riders are required to sign a release waiver. It is recommended that each person has personal insurance coverage. There will be no refunds for trips already in progress. Boundary Ranch is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to poor weather conditions, restrictions, or other factors we cannot control. You will be responsible for the cost of the helicopter evacuation for medical or personal reasons should it be necessary.
Group transportation from Calgary is available at an extra charge. Shuttle service to Kananaskis Village is available from the Calgary International Airport, downtown Calgary, and Banff. Regular taxi service is also available. Transportation from Kananaskis Village to Boundary Ranch is available on the day of trip departure as well as on your return.
Accommodation for before and after your trip is available in the nearby hotels and campgrounds of Kananaskis at reasonable rates. If you prefer, there are excellent Bed & Breakfast establishments in Canmore, located just outside Banff National Park. Please inquire upon booking your Pack Trip.
